[olug] Linux Remote Access Problem

I'm not sure if this is a Linux and/or basis
networking question, but I'm stumped...

I want to be able to use PuTTY, an SSH client, to ssh
into my network from outside my LAN. I have a Linux
box and a Dual Boot box (Linux/WIN2000) on my network
and a Linksys router/hub/firewall connects both to my
cable modem.

The Linksys is set up so:
-DHCP is disabled
-ip addresses are manually assigned
-I can ping the router, each box, and loopback address
from each machine so TCP/IP is working
-I can ssh into both Linux boxes while on my network.
-And I can SSH from the Windows box into the Linux box

I've setup IPForwarding via the Router, and set the
proper port #, 22 for ssh, but to no avail, I still
cannot get to my box. When I try it from work, I get a
screen, but no login prompt.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

thanks

-Chris
