[olug] Has Anyone Gotten the New Cox (Motorola Surfboard) to work with Linux?

 Get the config from the windows box - address, mask, gateway, dns, and
get the hardware ethernet address


ifconfig ether 'hardware address from windows machine'
enter the other parameters


 and you should be online ... I've run into the same thing with the
Cisco 1605 I use at my house ... changing mac worked just fine.
