Possibly Noteworthy:

If you're logged in to msn (passport, .net, whatever) at home, you 
cannot log in from another location.

Creating another account is a hassle for me, as MS has decided to refuse 
access to the 'create passport user' page on their site if you use 
Mozilla.  You can use an older Netscape browser (4.08+) to create your 
new passport account, or you can alter the user agent string that is 
sent to the server.

Also, I haven't found an easy way of importing my contacts from home, 
just had to re-enter them by hand.
