[olug] Eth0 delaying (fail) continued

yes, a while back I had the same problem, but I fixed it by instead of
using a fully qualified domain name, ie ab1212123-a.omhaw1.ne.home.com,
in the config files, I used just the first part, ie ab1212123-a
