[olug] network problem

It's official.  I'm baffled.

The lights are on, blink on ping and no answer.

I have two computers connected with a cross-over cat5.  Continuity checked.


Commands:
root:~$ ping 192.168.1.4

root:~$ telnet 192.168.1.4
