[olug] identd still not working

i do not recall installing a firewall. and seeing that i'm not that good
with the linux file system it would have to have been done in the install. i
do remember a setting asking about security. the setting was low med and
high. i picked med. i have not tried irc as root.that didnt seem like a good
idea at all. thanks for the info i'll poke around some more and see what i
find.
