[olug] addendum/correction and more ways of helping yourself

I don't have any experience with strace and didn't install it on my
system.  So I can't render an opinion.  However, debugging and, more
generally, software development would be another good topic for a
tutorial.  The software development tools are more complex and it would
be a larger project to write such a tutorial.  I don't have the time or
energy to embark on such a project right now but may sometime down the
road.  If someone else is interested, I encourage them to give it a
shot.
