[OLUG] Make error

cc is a UNIX c compiler, but Linux uses gcc. I've had similar problems
before with Red Hat's installer. Did you not choose "everything" when
you installed this? when I did that I was missing a /lot/ of important
stuff. I ended up having to reinstall with everything; the package
selector blows. Hopefully their gui installer will be a little more
refined in 6.2

That's my guess at what your problem is, anyway.
