[OLUG] [ot] Squid

I've been trying to figure out how to limit squid's memory usage. There
seems to be multiple instances of squid running when I check my running
processes, 18 to be exact. When I kill these processes with "squid -k
shutdown" they just respawn. I've looked though the conf file and can't see
where I can shut down some of these processes. I've looked through the
docs. Maybe I'm just not understanding how the program works. I'm running
on swap.
Thanks,
kent
