Yep, as far as I understand netmasks, specifying 255.255.255.255 as
netmask means the masked IP is logically AND'ed with (11111111 11111111
11111111 11111111) which gives the original IP address, meaning packets
are meant for that particular address, and not any other "things"
subneted further downstream, like your coffeemaker or toasteroven :)
