[olug] Mozilla/Netscape

I downloaded a new ver of netscape (for linux) the other day from the
ftp site (just as Paul did) and had some problems as well. The
installation had always been smooth before, so I went to the html site
and downloaded again, this time with the gui interface from
www.netscape.com. So the 2nd ver installed without a hitch. It was a
different package more specifically for glibc linux 2.2.

Of course it's better to know how to make a copy of netscape work for
this or that flavor of unix (as long as you don't end up spending man
days beating a dead horse, or as I like to call it: taking the long cold
penguin p... never mind) but I just thought I'd let you know that there
is an easy way out.
